Buff Orpington chicken painting by Sarah BellSarah’s paintings and illustrations are much in demand for promoting quality UK food producers and fine dining restaurants.

This area of work emerged through her involvement in Devon’s Sampsons Farm fine dining restaurant which sources quality local produce and has led to close involvement with food marketing in the West Country.

Painting holidays

Sarah runs watercolour courses and painting holidays throughout the year in an idyllic setting at Sampsons Farm near Exeter in Devon.

The programme includes one- and two-day workshops for anyone who wants to try their hand at watercolour painting for the first time, as well as courses for people who want to improve their techniques in watercolours.

Not only are the workshops highly acclaimed for the effectiveness of Sarah’s teaching, but they are also fun and insipirational.

All materials are provided, and the workshop cost includes a delicious lunch at the adjacent Sampsons Restaurant.

Watercolor painting of Sampsons Farm“We are delighted with Sarah Bell’s inimitable watercolours of native pig breeds which we have positioned around our open plan office.

They have a character and a realism that photographs cannot always capture. They also reflect the passion and interest that we have in sourcing the right ingredients to make our Westaways Sausages.”
