Job description
Our client is one of the key employers in the South Cambridge area. They have a track record of developing and progressing their finance staff quickly through the business.
The role is Management Accountant and comes with excellent benefits, financial study support and an unrivalled holiday entitlement.
Key responsibilities
The key responsibilities in the role are as follows:
- Monthly management accounts
- Monthly reviews with sales managers
- Preparing month end reports for management
- Review costs and seek possible reductions
- Supporting the credit control department
- Co-ordinating the SOX plan
Required knowledge & skills
- Part-qualified CIMA or ACCA
- Good communication skills at all levels
- Competent IT skills (SAP preferable)
- Able to cope with pressure and conflicting demands
- Good organisational and task prioritisation skills
- Problem solving ability/decision making
- Some French would be useful but not essential
Support in the role and training will be offered. We see this as an excellent opportunity for a part qualified accountant to get experience of key reporting systems and processes within a well respected and renowned employer in the area.
