Making our wedding gowns
We will be happy to source fabric samples and lace for your wedding dress and make a sketch of your bridal design.
Once we understand the picture you have in mind, we will take your measurements before creating a "toile" from cotton calico or a fabric similar to the one we use for your wedding dress for the first fitting.
Only when the "toile" fits perfectly, will we begin making the actual wedding dress.
How long your dress takes to make
Preferably, you should allow a lead time of 4 to 6 months for us to produce your wedding dress to allow for fittings and sourcing the right materials. By taking care of your dress arrangements in good time, you reduce some of the stress of wedding planning, and avoid being rushed when choosing the shoes and jewellery to complement your dress. If you don’t have that length of time, don't panic! If you talk to us, we will try our best to accommodate you.
