N5 area information
London N5 encompasses the area of Highbury and is in the London Borough of Islington.
The big event in the area in recent years was the move of Arsenal Footballl Club from its former home at Highbury to the brand new Emirates Stadium just half a mile to the south west at Ashburnham Grove. The project has been the catalyst for extensive redevelopment of the old stadium as well as the area around The emirates.
The most sought after property in the area is around Highbury Fields. Roads such as Highbury Place, Highbury Crescent, and Highbury Terrace border the 35 cares green where fine examples of Georgian and Victorian architecture abound.
There are two tube stations on the borders of N5; Arsenal to the north west (Piccadilly Line zone 2) and Highbury & Islington to the south (Victoria Line zone 2). Alternatively Drayton Park National Rail Station to the south (zone 2) is a mere 4 stops away from Moorgate.
