N17 area information
London N17 encompasses the area of Tottenham and is in the London Borough of Haringey.
The areas most famous Landmark, Tottenham Hotspur’s Football Stadium, is not located on White Hart Lane but rather just the other side of the High Road.
Just to the west of the area, beyond the Lockwood reservoir are the Tottenham Marshes providing open grassland for walkers, runners and cyclists. If you are looking for a properly fenced in family park you will have to travel just over the border in to N15 to Downhills. This popular and award winning park has a host of facilities including tennis courts and beautifully landscaped gardens.
The “One” National Rail Line runs through the area from north to south stopping at White Hart Lane and Bruce Grove (both in zone 3) on its way to Central London. Tottenham Hale Underground Station, to the south east of the postcode, is on the Victoria Line (zone 3) with a journey time to central London of about twenty minutes.
