About FTA Ltd’s CPD points courses
FTA’s CPD courses are rigorous, commercially relevant and up to the minute. On training courses delegate interaction, discussion and case-related problem solving are all key components of learning.
FTA only uses experienced trainers who have a professional track record aside from their training work. Trainers are happy to tell a few salient “war stories” and are instantly credible with their audiences. Their job is to make learning interesting and fun!

CPD Points
Qualified law and accountancy professionals are required to undertake CPD (continuous professional development).
All professionals who are in legal or accounting practice are required to complete a minimum of number of hours of CPD course training per year. In some cases a proportion of the requirement must be met by participating in courses that are offered by accredited CPD training course providers.
Requirements for Law CPD Points and ACCA CPD Units
CPD points requirements are determined by the relevant regulatory body. For example, Law CPD points requirements are determined by the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority (the SRA). CPD unit training course requirements for ACCA members are determined by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Law and accounting professionals are encouraged to assume responsibility for their own development by choosing from a wide range activities relevant to their professional responsibilities and personal development.
